General Product Performance Test Process
This universal test flow is applicable to all valve products, used to verify the pressure resistance, pressure maintaining and automatic control performance of products:
1. Signal Acquisition Test — Install pressure sensing devices to collect real-time medium pressure data at the product inlet. Pneumatic products use pneumatic pressure pilots to convert pressure into air signals; electric products rely on sensors to output standard 4-20mA analog signals, and transmit the collected signals to the control pilot module.
2. Control Signal Processing Test — The pilot module receives pressure feedback signals, converts and optimizes them into standard driving signals matching the actuator. Check whether signal output changes synchronously with pressure fluctuations to guarantee stable and undistorted signal transmission.
3. Actuator Linked Action Test — Input different standard control signals to the actuator. Observe the operation feedback of pneumatic or electric actuators, and confirm the actuator can drive the product opening and closing parts to act accurately following signal changes.
4. Overall Pressure Maintaining Performance Inspection — Simulate multiple actual working pressure environments, continuously monitor the sealing performance and pressure holding effect of the product. Verify that the product can stably maintain system back pressure under long-term operation to satisfy industrial and domestic application standards.
Important Universal Valve Components
Bonnet
The bonnet is the top protective structure of the valve, used to protect internal core parts such as the diaphragm and spring, playing a key role in dust prevention and structural protection.
Spring
The spring maintains stable tension for the valve stem, ensures the valve can automatically reset to the safe fail position when the system fails, and guarantees the basic safety of pipeline operation.
Valve Actuator
The valve actuator is the power execution component of all valve products. It receives control signals and flexibly adjusts the valve opening state. It supports disassembly and parameter adjustment, realizing free switching of valve opening and closing modes to adapt to different working conditions.
Stuffing Box Assembly
The stuffing box assembly is equipped with high-performance sealing packing. It can effectively prevent medium leakage at the valve stem while ensuring the flexible up-and-down movement of the valve stem, ensuring the tightness and flexibility of valve operation.
Yoke and Travel Indicator
The yoke fixes the overall valve structure, and the travel indicator can intuitively display the real-time opening position of the valve, which is convenient for staff to observe, adjust and inspect the valve operation status.
Stem and Seat
The valve stem and seat are the core flow control components of all valves. They control the on-off and flow adjustment of pipeline media. Made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials, they effectively resist medium erosion and extend the service life of the valve.
Working Principle of Valve
All types of valves work based on fluid mechanics principles to open, close or adjust the flow of liquid and gas media. Each valve is equipped with movable internal components such as valve plug, disc or core connected to the valve stem. When closed, the internal fittings fit tightly with the valve seat to block medium flow. When the stem moves linearly or rotates, it drives the internal core parts to change the flow passage area, so as to realize flow switch and flow regulation.
The valve body cooperates with different types of actuators, including electric, pneumatic and manual driving methods, to complete opening and closing actions. The actuator or manual structure receives operation signals or external force, converts them into linear or rotational mechanical motion, and accurately drives the valve core to adjust its position. It can respond to changes in pipeline pressure, temperature and liquid level to meet different pipeline working requirements.
Valves maintain stable operation of the entire pipeline system by dynamically adjusting the flow passage area. When the pipeline medium flow, pressure or working conditions change, the valve can automatically or manually adjust the opening degree to balance the pipeline state. It effectively stabilizes system parameters, offsets the impact of working condition fluctuations, and ensures safe, stable and efficient operation of water supply, gas, chemical and industrial pipeline systems.
